*Boulder Cleanweb Hackathon, May 18-20* * *
*Venue: Trada, 1023 Walnut St, Boulder* * * *Register: Boulder.Cleanweb.co.* * * *Starts: 6:30pm on Fri, May 18; runs through Sunday afternoon* * * Hello, My name is Pattie Kettle and I want to invite you to an event that's happening as part of Boulder StartUp Week- the *Boulder Cleanweb Hackathon, on May 18-20*. We have some great people involved with the weekend, including the team that ran a similar hackathon in NYC in January and in San Francisco last September. Cleanweb is the idea that information technology can be the most leveraged way to address resource constraints of climate, energy, water, food, transportation, and land use. The goal of a Cleanweb Hackathon is to build apps and hacks that contribute to sustainability, using technology and the mobile and social web. We challenge attendees on what they can do in a little over 24 hours with datasets and APIs, while having fun at the same time. We are expecting over 100 participants and are working on attracting media attention to the event. We would be honored if you or a representative of your organization can attend the event. Event details and registration will be added to boulder.cleanwebhack.com very soon, if it’s not already there by the time you read this. Additionally, please have attendees sign up at hackerleague.org<http://hackerleague.org/hackathons/boulder-cleanweb-hackathon> to discuss potential projects and form teams ahead of the event. Please feel free to contact i...@thecontentwritingpeople.com, with any questions. We look forward to seeing you there! Thank you, *Pattie Kettle*, on behalf of the Boulder Cleanweb Hackathon Organizers **
