There's a group of volunteers who have set up a toll-free number for beginner
Ruby on Rails developers to call with questions, no charge. If you're
tutoring/mentoring a beginner, you might pass this on to them.
It does sound a little sketchy -- no it's not a 1-900 number -- so I called it
myself and chatted with one of the volunteers. He said they get something like
a call or two per day. I wondered how they did screen sharing if that was
necessary; he said they might ask the caller to use iChat or join.me. Anyway,
the guy I talked to seemed legitimate; your mileage may vary.
