Hi folks, Standing Cloud is looking for a Test Automation Engineer, ideally with Ruby/Watir/Cucumber experience, to build out and maintain our automated test suite. These test will be used pre- and post-release of code, to ensure quality and monitor pieces of our production service, respectively.

Responsibilities: • Build out and maintain the automated test suite, using a combination of Ruby, Watir, and Cucumber. • Engage in continuous automated testing activity throughout agile development iterations. • Participate in iteration planning, providing input on automated testing tasks and associated effort for the selected user stories. • Create and manage bug reports, ensuring they are clearly communicated to the team and addressed in a timely, thorough, and satisfactory manner. • Provide feedback and recommendations on software usability and functionality. • Partner with Operations to deliver continuously running health-checks on the entire production system. • Other automation scripting duties, as assigned.
