Three weeks ago I was looking through the bzrlib source for some reason I don't remember and I really liked their command class, so I implemented something like that for BE. Also made a bunch of other reorganizations and cleanups on my way to developing an over-the-wire backend for BE to supersede the current email interface for most users (not that I actually know of anyone using the email interface besides me...).
