Cool that people are starting to look at this. Note that there's also https://github.com/ned14/Bugs-Everywhere-for-BEurtle , which has some patches that may be generally useful. Overview of changes here: https://pypi.python.org/pypi/Bugs-Everywhere-BEurtle-fork/1.5.0.1.-2012-07-16- - ability to run from within a compressed egg. Don't know if he used pkg_resources or if it's hackier, haven't looked at the source myself. - abstraction of VCS code, I get the idea that he's jacking into Tortoise APIs, but that's just my interpretation. So may or may not be generally useful. People who are interested in BE may also be interested in the similarly not-entirely-dead-but-close http://dist-bugs.branchable.com/ meta project, which e.g. has an overview of what solutions exist and could be a good place to source requirements, regardless if you want to improve BE or implement a replacement. _______________________________________________ Be-devel mailing list [email protected] http://void.printf.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/be-devel
