UPDATE:

It appears to be working now...but on when logged into 'root'.

It's odd though, because neither the TI BeagleBone Black Analog Stereo or 
C-Media USB Audio Device show up when logged into my user account. Not sure 
why Linux would default the users to not having sound.
--All apt-get commands are done using 'sudo' to insure they work.
