Hello all,

I've just gotten ahold of my BBB and have been my efforts to make the first
software update have been for naught.

Insofar, these are the steps I've taken for updating the software:

-I've loaded the first listed Angstrom Distribution to my uSD

-I put the card into the BBB and held the BOOT button before powering the
board.

==================
I usually get either of the following results:
-------PWR LED lights up next to the 5V input (This occured when trying to
boot from a plug-in USB and USB port from my computer)
-------Occasionally my computer gets sassy and says that it "Cannot find an
AM335x USB driver". (I downloaded, unzipped all the driver stuff for W7 and
could navigate to it on Chrome, no other driver stuff installed beyond
this).
==================

I've searched all over for documentation on this and have come up pretty
short. So my questions are as follows:
-- Is there something I missed that could tell me what's going on?
        --If not, would anyone know what's up?
                  --If no again, would anyone know an alternative booting
method so I could start trying to mess around on this thing :p?

So I'm definitely new as all getout and will go ahead and apologize for
probably bringing the least technically adept post to this board. Apologies
also if this has already been addressed, a link would be great. Any help
would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance :).
