Hello All;

I am hoping that someone on the list can help.

I have seen a thread about this before, but couldn't find it.

We have a deadline now past and could REALLY use some help here.

What follows are my colleague's comments from a recent email:

"Last week's effort was simply to use 'sendmail' to get a message out of
board. Angstrom uses a package called 'msmtp' to implement sendmail.

I downloaded this and tried it, but after hours of futzing, I still couldn't
get a message out. Same with Perl; even after managing to install the
necessary perl modules, all that happened was the error message changed.

All of the stuff that I've been trying on Angstrom actually works on Ubuntu,
so I'm thinking Angstrom is not all it's cracked up to be. Next week's
effort will be trying Ubuntu to see if I can get this working.

By the way, NFS functionality doesn't seem to work in Angstrom, either.
This particular distro is _very_ frustrating :("

Here is the distro information:

Image we are using:

Angstrom-Cloud9-IDE-GNOME-eglibc-ipk-v2012.12-beaglebone-2013.06.20.img

Boot Messages:

The Angstrom Distribution beaglebone ttyGS0

Angstrom v2012.12 - Kernel 3.8.13

Thanks;

Bill
