Hello everyone,

I have beaglebone Rev A6 white with me. I am encountering the problem while
connecting JTAG using ccsv5.

The process followed to try connecting jtag,

*1. Update FTDI eeprom on beaglebone using mprog.exe as mentioned below
links*

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/XDS100#Q:_How_can_I_check_if_the_VID.2FPID_for_the_EEPROM_are_programmed_correctly.3F

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/XDS100#Q:_How_do_I_reprogram_the_VID.2FPID_EEPROM_if_it_has_not_been_programmed_correctly.3F

*2. Target configuration is updated as follows in ccsv5*

http://beagleboard.org/static/beaglebone/a3/Docs/ccs-jtag-simple.htm

*3. I tested jtag connection using "Test Connection" button which is
available on ccsv5 UI.*

I got following errors in pop up...

There is no hardware for programming the JTAG TCLK frequency.

-----[Measure the source and frequency of the final JTAG TCLKR

4. CCSv5 throws an error like below, When i am launching & connecting the
target configuration using ccsv5,

IcePick_D_0: Error connecting to the target: (Error -2131 @ 0x0) Unable to
access device register. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error
persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more
reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Emulation package 5.0.872.0)

Please help me out to connect jtag in beaglebone.

Thanks
