I am Beaglebone fan and I am trying to clone a board from _*Beaglebone*_
_*white*_(A6A). I have some questions need your help:
1). From schematic, CAT24C256W (U7) is to store variable & mac memory,
do I need to write codes to this EEPROM in u-boot? Can I just download
u-boot.img from Beaglebone white from bealgebone.org?
2). From schematic, FT2232LQFN64(U12) AND USB2412_QFN28(U11) are used to
connect USB0, JTAG and UART0 to PC. My thought is: connect UART0
directly to COM port on Computer, use USB0 as a seperate USB Port,
delete JTAG port. Is this design all right if I just want to boot into
Linux?
