So I started playing around with my BBB recently. I followed some instructions I found on eLinux for install Ubuntu on the board. I programmed the SD card and inserted that into the board and it is being recognized as an external storage device when I plug the board into the USB port (sometimes). The problem is though, when I click on the START.htm page, it doesn't take me to the original quick start guide. Rather I get this:
<https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-ppZx5xw3ObE/Upgnf-8-CmI/AAAAAAAAAgc/IKf0ELM9ShM/s1600/start.PNG> So it looks like Ubuntu got installed, right? I see Debian. *I want to start over from the beginning like when I got the board out of the box. Is there a way to do that?* I don't think there is anything stored anymore on the eMMC. The reason I think that is because when I plug the board into power without the SD card, nothing happens. The USR LED's don't blink the way they are supposed to. When I have the SD card in there, they start blinking correctly. I also can't seem to SSH over to the board like I was able to before I put Ubuntu on it (it won't accept the username and password that the eLinux instructions said it would). On top of that, it takes a *really* long time for the board to be recognized as external storage by my PC. Clearly I am doing something wrong here.
