My Beagleboardxm is connected to a 19" LCD monitor via DVI-HDMI. It seems to ignore the settings in my uEnv.txt file and GNOME always comes up in 640x480 resolution. GNOME System Preferences Monitors say it is a "Laptop" with 640x480 resolution and will not let me change it to anything else.
The SD card has this image: http://angstrom.s3.amazonaws.com/demo/beagleboard/Angstrom-TI-GNOME-image-eglibc-ipk-v2012.01-core-beagleboard-2012.01.11.img.gz Release v2012.01-core (Core edition) Kernal Linux 3.0.14+ The uEnv.txt in my boot partition only has this: defaultdisplay=dvi dvimode=1280x720MR-16@60 I've reviewed Robert Nelson's information at: http://eewiki.net/display/linuxonarm/BeagleBoard#BeagleBoard-uEnv.txtbasedbootscript and https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/beagleboard/Hkpwfoxhiyk Can someone point me in the right direction?
