I am basically a newbie, my only experience is playing with basic on my imsai, 30 years ago. Boy have things changed! I had wanted to use Adafruit's P)ython_IO for the other functions it had. However I wanted to try your code, it may be all I need. I am getting an error on the "git clone" that sez "fatal: HTTP request failed". > What is Shuswap near? You must be even colder than Buena Vista, Colorado. So your beaglebone needs to have access to the internent for the git clone command to work. There is a "Download ZIP" link on the github page: https://github.com/dhylands/python_lcd (right hand side underneath all of the rest of the stuff). You can then transfer the zip file to your beaglebone, unpack it and then follow the rest of the instructions. Make sure you're using level shifters. -- Dave Hylands Shuswap, BC, Canada http://www.davehylands.com -- For more options, visit http://beagleboard.org/discuss --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BeagleBoard" group.
