I have not tried Arch yet. I would imagine it is just as easy to install as
Angstrom or Ubuntu. If I can't get this screen to stay on I might have to
give it a whirl.

BTW there is no xorg.conf in the Ubuntu distribution. I tried using "X
--configure -config xorg.conf -configdir /etc/X11" to have X generate the
xorg.conf but it bombs out stating something about the no drivers available.
I will create one the manual way and see if that works.
