Powered only from +5V barrel connector I tried with latest Angstrom Linux beaglebone 3.8.13 #1 SMP Sun Jan 12 13:00:53 CET 2014 armv7l GNU/Linux
and a Vodafone K3772 modem connecte to USB host and all is OK When switching to new Debian image Linux arm 3.8.13-bone32 #1 SMP Fri Dec 13 16:57:41 UTC 2013 armv7l GNU/Linux I get a random switching on/of of the modem (usb power sometimes is on sometimes is off at start-up wit dmesg –which i suspect is the cause for switching usb power off. [ 78.467871] CAUTION: musb: Babble Interrupt Occurred [ 78.502458] CAUTION: musb: Babble Interrupt Occurred First I suspected a faulty power supply but the same PSU works fine with Angstrom And another thing, maybe related, after changing cpu frequency to governor performance Angstrom boots with 1 GHz frequency but Debian moves back to 300 MHz and I must switch to 1 GHz after each reboot. Any suggestions ? I want to switch from Angstrom for a remote operated control box but neither Ubuntu nor Debian seem to be reliable regarding connected USB devices. -- For more options, visit http://beagleboard.org/discuss --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BeagleBoard" group.
