Hi all,
I have been trying to attach a file to a posting on this group. I am doing
this by clicking on the Reply icon of an existing post and then clicking on
the "Attach a file" link in the message editor that is displayed. When I do
this all that happens is a large empty white rectangle is displayed.
Nothing further happens. To get out of this state I have to reload the web
page, which puts me back in the message editor. I am using the current
version of Chrome on a Windows 7 (64 bit) PC.
I have searched on Google to see if others are having this problem but I
didn't find anything that looked like the same problem (many others seem to
have problems attaching files in gmail). One message talked about using the
Chrome development tools console to see what is happening, so I tried that.
When I click on the "Attach a file" link the following errors are displayed
on the console:
Failed to execute 'postMessage' on 'DOMWindow': The target origin provided
('https://docs.google.com') does not match the recipient window's origin
('https://groups.google.com'). cb=gapi.loaded_0:114

So my questions are:
Does anyone else have a problem attaching a file to a post?
Does anyone have any idea what these errors mean? They seem to indicate an
error in the google groups code, but I really don't know.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a way to get better debug info, or where
to post it? This groups really doesn't seem like the right place, but I
thought I would start here to see if other are having the same issue. A
google search didn't help me find a "google groups" support group to
discuss this on. I found a few google groups help pages but they didn't
have anything relevant, and I didn't find a way to ask questions.
