I would once again request that as many facts as possible be published regularly. It can be weekly shipments by region, and known backlog, as inaccurate as the latter might be. In a difficult situation, without facts, anecdotes and stories will take over.
As an anecdote: Adafruit doesn't take back orders--they just notify you when the product is in stock. They've shown zero availability continuously since Jan 29.
