Looking at it, I find several options to follow. My current situation is Ubuntu12.04armhf, and the only thing I do to replace the kernel is replacing uImage after building it with the linaro cross-compiler. I already tried Ubuntu 13.10, but that didn't have a desktop and the SD card setup option is (as far as I can see) based on Angstrom. So can you advise what to do in my situation, looking for a way to get (preferably) kernel 3.5.7 to work ?
