Thanks mate, anyways my idea was correct; by reinstalling *nano* I got the italian language. So maybe the file could be customised in order to have just the locale we need. Anyways, after customising the no_doc file (this is for everybody) you can reinstall packages by doing: sudo apt-get --reinstall install $(dpkg --get-selections | grep install | cut-f 1) That's all folks!
