Hi Stephen, I am too facing the same issue when connect to beaglebone using putty. I tried the the solution you mentioned but it is not working for me. Either the file is not getting deleted or there is some other issue. I am using Cloud9 IDE to delete file. Is there any other way to do so? Any help will really be appreciated. I am newbie to beaglebone.
