Hi, I know that is an old post. I have a BBB with A6A version with AM3359. In this web page <http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/arm/sitara_arm_cortex_a_processor/sitara_arm_cortex_a8/am335x_arm_cortex_a8/getting_started.page?DCMP=AM33x_Announcement&HQS=am335x>, I can see that this model support Ethercat, but you mentioned that the AM3359 was a special verison. Is it compatible with EtherCAT ?
