This might be a duplicate post and if so, I apologize. So, I'm making my own cape and I want to access UART1. It will be connecting to a FT230x chip and I want to to make sure I get the routing correct. Here is my understanding on how ti should be done
Beagle bone black FT230x U9 pin I/O Function Direction Function Pin 19 OUTPUT UART1_RSTn -----> CTSn INPUT 6 20 INPUT UART1_CTSn <----- RTSn OUTPUT 2 24 OUTPUT UART1_TXD -----> RXD INPUT 4 26 INPUT UART1_RXD <----- TXD OUTPUT 1 Basically this is a DTE/DCE question. I looked online but can't find anything definitive for the BBB.
