I think my BBB is dead as when I plug it in the USB port the pwr led goes on for less than a second then goes off again. Holding the reset button on boot doesn't change anything. This happened after I haved used a USB cable that looked the same as the BBB one but with a jack output ( I think I used it on a mobile phone previously)
