USB-2.0 4-Port HUB Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub aplay -l: **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices **** card 0: Black [TI BeagleBone Black], device 0: HDMI hdmi-hifi-0 [] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 1: Set [C-Media USB Headphone Set], device 0: USB Audio [USB Audio] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 Unfortunately, any attempt to direct audio output to the card freezes the BBB with no message to syslog. User LED's 0 and 2 are constant on and LED's 1 and 3 are constant off. For example: speaker-test -Ddefault:Set -c6 -twav speaker-test 1.0.28 Playback device is default:Set Stream parameters are 48000Hz, S16_LE, 6 channels WAV file(s) Rate set to 48000Hz (requested 48000Hz) Buffer size range from 2048 to 16384 Period size range from 1024 to 1024 Using max buffer size 16384 Periods = 4 was set period_size = 1024 was set buffer_size = 16384 0 - Front Left Would anyone have an idea how to approach this?
