Yeup, different architecture. i386 <anything> is typical "Intel compatible PC" architecture. Also known as x86, most commonly in the Windows world.
Where as the BBB uses an ARM processor. ARMHF basically is Debian's way of saying ARM architecture with hardware floating point support.
