the arduino IDE is also packaged in debian as the package "arduino",
available for all supported architectures.

I'm not sure if version 1.0.5 supports Arduino Due, but 1.5.6 is
available in experimental (and can be directly installed in testing/sid, or
probably rebuilt for wheezy)
