Announcing a new service for the DIY/Beaglebone Community: A new web service, free for basic use, is just released and allows a GPIO bus (as for example of a Beaglebone) to be monitored and controlled via the Internet. The basic service is free. The iGPIO service is entirely reconfigurable, and the DIY community can find it useful for many applications, such as temperature monitoring and controlling lights etc. remotely. On the web site <www.iGPIO.net> are several examples of how to set up a Raspberry PI (B+) to interface with the iGPIO web-based service.
