Hi, I'm currently new to Beaglebone I had this problem whenever I connect the power supply to the Beaglebone Black, it will automatically reset/shutdown. It will shutdown when I already had the board connected with PC as shown below.
On the other hand, it will keep rebooting if I powered it using just power adapter. Powering the Beaglebone Black via USB alone seems working. I'm using a Samsung travel adapter model EP-TA10UWE and some cheap usb-usb wire (changed the USB connector to DC connector).
