Hi, Until recently there was a separate Debian image for booting/running from microsd. Does the latest Debian version http://debian.beagleboard.org/images/bone-debian-7.8-lxde-4gb-armhf-2015-03-01-4gb.img.xz boots/runs as well from microsd following the Getting started guide Update board with latest software?
