Hi, I just received my first beagleboard-xm, but have a hard time starting up. The card it came with has Angstrom as OS which is totally new to me as well. When I plug in all the components to the board such as mouse, keyboard, serial cable etc. and power it, nothing displays on my TV (connected using HDMI-HDMI). I can connect with the board through the serial cable when using linux, but not in windows? So my two questions are, why can't I connect through serial cable using putty in windows? And why can I not display the GUI on my TV through the HDMI-HDMI cable?
