No it shouldn't. Possibly what the problem is, is the older MLO, or
uboot.img on the eMMC, but using the boot button should fix that. You're
holding that button down to 10-15 seconds with the sdcard in right ? SO
press and hold the boot button, apply power, and continue to hold the boot
button until all 4 LEDS light up one at a time, and then go out. After this
I continue to hold the boot button until one LED comes back on but . . .
