I am trying to access my BBBs from my mac. I followed the START.htm link and was able to download the Network and Serial files. However, my mac doesn't recognize any software in the FTDI_Ser.dmg file. When I click on the FTDI_Ser.dmg file another file "FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_2_18 is opened. When I try to install it I get through the installation process, but end up with an error saying" The installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install".
I can install the original file from http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP/MacOSX/FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_2_16.dmg, but it won't allow me to access the BBB. Any thoughts? I'm fumbling through this, but cannot figure it out.
