I was asked to report back on my experience running a 128 GB card on the BBB (Rev.C) Seems to work fine. I have not filled the card or run it for long periods, yet.
Image loaded/used: bone-debian-8.2-console-armhf-2015-11-29-2gb.img Installed on 128 GB card, checked to see if ran on BBB as installed (untouched). df reported 1.7G, as expected. Mounted on Linux Desktop machine, used Gparted to expand partition to 122 GB.
