Please retest with the latest:

Which use the "4.1.18-ti-r52" kernel, some of the usb issues seem to
be caused by the RT patchset, so with the "2016-03-13" snapshot we
swapped back to the non-rt varient..

I personally know "g_serial" now works out of the box again..
