I have a BBB A6A (2GB eMMC) running 3.8 kernel:
uname -a Linux BBB-A6A-1 3.8.13-bone50 #1 SMP Tue May 13 13:24:52 UTC 2014 armv7l GNU/Linux I now also have a BBB 0C0 (4GB eMMC) and BBBWireless, both running the 4.4. kernel: uname -a Linux BBB-WA5-1 4.4.30-ti-r64 #1 SMP Fri Nov 4 21:23:33 UTC 2016 armv7l GNU/Linux Setup of the original BBB to support remote desktop (using xrdp) was smooth. I've tried to setup the same access (Microsoft Remote Desktop <-> BBB xrdp) with no luck. Is there a different setup required on the BBB with the new kernel, and if so, what is it? It appears to be an access/authentication issue. When attempting to connect, I get a "Negotiating Credentials" message, which either hangs forever, or immediately terminates the connection attempt. I can ssh successfully into both of these new 'Bones.
