Hi I'm looking @ the BB Black for a project. I need 4 UARTs for this, only one of which needs to have RTS CTS flow control.
The Black seems to fit the bill, but looking at http://elinux.org/Beagleboard:Cape_Expansion_Headers in section 4.5 Serial UARTS the pins for UART5 are suffixed with a "+". Anyone know why this is? I'm guessing it's a potential conflict with another peripheral option. One other thing I'm not 100% sure about is the GPIO pins have 8 different modes. I assume these can be set on a per-pin basis? (as opposed from choosing from one of 8 predefined sets for the whole chip) If it's relevant my overall requirement is: 4 UART Ethernet USB host microSD card 10 GPIOs Audio (analog - will need to add codec) No display Thanks Nick -- For more options, visit http://beagleboard.org/discuss --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BeagleBoard" group.
