CircuitCo was the original manufacturing partner for BeagleBoard.org and supported much of the development of the products and community. They used to do the majority of board assembly and sales to distributors. BeagleBoard.org manufacturing partners are listed on https://beagleboard.org/logo and other partners are listed on https://beagleboard.org/resources.
BeagleBoard.org typically refers to the website and associated community, such as the participants on this forum, but might also refer to the BeagleBoard.org Foundation, which is a non-profit corporation that owns the trademarks associated with BeagleBoard.org, BeagleBoard and BeagleBone. The BeagleBoard.org Foundation pays for the website, some on-going development costs, some amount of board donations for curriculum/example development and promotion of the BeagleBoard.org community and open source designs and is funded through licensing the use of those trademarks.
