I have a ~6" touchscreen display driven by the BBB, that is working flawlessly (for the most part). Occassionally I'll look over and see a completely blank display, and the dmesg log of "timeout waiting for framedone". It's my understanding that this is not a cause, but an indication of an issue with the display not responding, or something along those lines. Once it begins to happen, it starts to happen every 10-15 minutes.
Looking into it, I've gotten a couple logs to compare the issue, and I always see the same series of events: [ 4.993341] EXT4-fs (mmcblk0p1): INFO: recovery required on readonly filesystem [ 4.993361] EXT4-fs (mmcblk0p1): write access will be enabled during recovery [ 5.031449] tilcdc 4830e000.fb: timeout waiting for framedone [ 5.256939] EXT4-fs (mmcblk0p1): recovery complete [ 5.258639] EXT4-fs (mmcblk0p1): mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. Opts: (null) So my first instinct is to correlate the corruption, and display issues. I guess my questions really boil down to: A) Has anyone had similar issues that they have since resolved, or at least found a root cause? B) Is there a decent way to simulate these series of events (corruption, recovery) to assess the correlation? -- For more options, visit http://beagleboard.org/discuss --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BeagleBoard" group.
