Ok, the error was that it was one line as RobertNielson pointed out. dd if=/opt/scripts/device/bone/bbbw-eeprom.dumpof=/sys/devices/platform/ocp/44e0b000.i2c/i2c-0/0-0050/eeprom
After I did this, connmanctl worked fine and the wifi works fine. Thanks a bunch....
