Well the first rather basic question is what OS you are running on the
PC. (Ah, oops, Windows presumably, I'll bow out here then)

... and the second important question is how your PC is connecting to
the internet.


If your PC connects to the internet via a router of some sort and that
has hardwired ethernet connections then the easiest way to allow your
BBB to access the internet is simply to connect its ethernet port
directly to your router.
