I have a BBB running Debian 9 (Stretch) but still with a very old kernel - 3.8.13.
What's the easiest/safest way to update the kernel to something more up to date? Ideally I'd like to be able to do this remotely, I have ssh access to the BBB. If as a result it all falls in a crumpled heap it's not really a disaster, I do visit it every few weeks. If there's no way to do it remotely then instructions for doing it when I'm on site would be useful too. I've very little that's kernel dependent running on it, mostly some Python programs using Adafruit libraries. Anyway if I can get it back up running with a new kernel I can set about sorting out any problems due to the kernel change. -- Chris Green ยท -- For more options, visit http://beagleboard.org/discuss --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BeagleBoard" group.
