Does that mean that everyone running 4.14.x had these problems? I didn't 
find an outpouring of posts about this problem (although possibly simply a 
benign log entry) so thought it was a rarer problem that few others had.

Is it reasonable to update just the radio firmware(s), or would that pose a 
risk (greater than the upgrade)?
