Ignoring my own question, I found a maybe more recent driver download
from https://github.com/mfruba/kernel:
/TL-WN722N_v2.0-Ralink/rtl8188EUS_linux_v4.3.0.8_13968.20150417

The makefile is configured for Intel, which do I choose for Debian10 on
Beaglebone?
