New issue 159: Windows Cygwin Install Issue - Insufficient Python version; you need v3.5 or higher. https://bitbucket.org/blais/beancount/issues/159/windows-cygwin-install-issue-insufficient
Chris Weber: When following the instructions for a windows install with Python, I ran into this error message: ERROR: Insufficient Python version; you need v3.5 or higher. Apparently cygwin does not yet have python 3.5 available but the latest (only?) release on pypi requires 3.5. I'm running cygwin x64 on Windows 10. It comes with Python 3.4.5. I'm not sure if the 32 bit version would have the updated Python or not. This is probably outside of the scope of what can be fix in the Beancount project but maybe we can update the documentation with this issue? I'd hate to have others waste their time trying to install cygwin + beancount if it's currently not going to work anyway. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Beancount" group.
