Can you provide the full example transaction?

If there's a cost clause (e.g., {...}), the price annotation (@ ...) refers
to the units of TRD.
It is an error to have different currencies for cost and price.
What you can do is convert the price on the cash side, that is, the other
postings.
If you only have the inverted rate handy, you can write @ 1/0.8 GBP for
convenience.
