Hi! I think you don't completely understand the way beancount works. Nothing in beancount makes changes to the .beancount-files itself, only you do. All the beancount-tools (including bean-price) only read the file and process the information in some way. If you want the price directives in your .beancount-file (which is totally reasonable), you have to copy-paste them in yourself.
