Please note that currently, unless what you want to hack on Beancount itself, building Beancount v3 with Bazel does not provide any practical advantage over installing it with Python setuptools. The Bazel build definition builds some C++ that will be the foundation of the next version of Beancount, but it is not yet integrated into the other parts of the project.
