Very helpful effort, thanks Simon!
Question: how does one contribute to the wiki? With a quick look, all I
could find was
<https://github.com/plaintextaccounting/plaintextaccounting/wiki/About-this-wiki>
a pointer to a chat. Is that by design?
Not at all! The chat is for help or discussion when needed, but you can
contribute any time in the usual way of editing a github wiki: with the
Edit / New Page buttons at top right (or by cloning it locally, making
changes, and sending a pull request / pushing).
I'm always logged in so I always see those buttons, but as you point
out, they aren't visible if not logged in. Thanks, I'll mention this on
the page.
I was thinking that might make
it somewhat cumbersome to contribute, is that something you're seeing?
Yes - it's either that or there's just not that many folks in a position
to contribute, as there are few contributors right now.
Less cumbersome would be good, but with wikis on the public internet you
can't make it too easy..
