My partner and I get paid on opposite Fridays, so I update our finances every other week. I have just started with beancount and fava/fava-envelope this month. I get an unexpected result as I try to add more funds to my envelopes mid-month:
- on June 1, I added an envelope using allocate: 2024-06-01 custom "envelope" "allocate" "Expenses:Commuting:Lodging" 50 - on June 14, I tried to add funds to that envelope using: 2024-06-14 custom "envelope" "allocate" "Expenses:Commuting:Lodging" 50 - but when I view the result using fava, the budget envelope only contains $50, not $100 as expected. - Does fava-envelope only allow one envelope allocation per month? Are multiple allocations per budget period? Or am I making another mistake that I'm not seeing?
