I've now gotten the version written and tested which will rescan the transactions after each change. I now append those generated transactions to a file in the account hierarchy as specified in the ledger so when all works as it should the changes are shown as you are making them. I do not by default make any changes to any other existing files so this should still be relatively safe to use. I do warn about making backups and data loss chances (slim with how I have it set up). Since this is what I consider a breaking change I do note that in the README and the release announcement.
